IMPACT YOUR WORLD POSITIVELY

On monday,  I went for a funeral service that made me think about my life. At the end of the service, a lot of questions were ringing in my mind.

Why are we here on earth? What is your purpose? Why did God bring you in His own likeness? Why were you born into the family you are in?
God has a reason for why you go through this life's journey.
It is not a mistake that we meet different people every passing day. God has sent each and every one of us to this world in order to make a positive impact on everyone we come across.

As I listened to the biography of a dear pastor, I only heard of the impacts he has made throughout his lifetime. Wherever you find yourself today, know that one day you will exit this world, and the only story you will be remembered for is that of the impact you made.

What do you want people to say about you? How you brought them to christ or pushed them away from Jesus. You are created for a reason and chosen for a season.  No one has his time in his hands.
IMPACT YOUR WORLD POSITIVELY.

NO TIME II You may not have a second chance!!!

One Friday afternoon, I went to pick up my children from school and as usual, my favorite cleaner was in front of my daughter's class where she usually sits. We laughed as usual;  I felt like giving her some money, but I postponed it till the next week because I did not have much with me.

Monday morning came. I was on my way to drop my children in school and the thought of this cleaner in front of my daughter's class  was so strong.  I checked in my car and saw some cash which I decided to give her.

Most times I send her to help me get bottled water for the children, too, and this faithful day I was looking forward to giving her a surprise. When I got to the door, I asked after her and the teacher started crying. "She just died this morning."

That was one of my worst days in 2018. She's been sick; she needed money that Friday. I procrastinated because I did not know. I cried my heart out. I stood by her corpse that morning and I just could not think straight. The rest is history today, gone forever.
Please, there is just no time. If God leads you, do it. You don't know who God is leading you to help. Don't Procrastinate.

You don't know who that song can bring salvation to. You don't know who that book that you planned to write will bless.
Many talents have gone to the other side. Don't wait; start now!!! Listen to your heart. There's no time
"I WILL DO IT" HAS NO DATE UNTIL YOU DO IT.

No time

Have you been struggling with yourself to do what God has called you to  do?

Have you been asking yourself over and over again if it is GOD that spoke to you years back?

Have you been procrastinating to start what you were created into this world to do?

The bible say in Ecclesiastes 3:1
To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven.

Do you know God can still give someone else that song he ministered to you if you don't sing it? There is actually no time to waste procrastinating.

The end is near and you have not even started your mission on earth. Don't wait until you are replaced. Sing that song today, write that book today, Preach the sermon today, reach out to that unsaved soul! Dont live this earth with your mission unaccomplished. Start today!!

Religion Kills... Christ Saves

My belief about our walk with God is personal/individual. Everyone has its own convictions about how he wants to relate with his maker and be affirmed with Him, although there are ways in which it’s a general standards for all believers but the medium through which we reach God might be different based on individual convictions.
Our convictions are based on the faith we have in God and as we all know that we can only please God through faith. Our levels of faith are different from one another and likewise I can’t force my convictions on another believer based on what I believe. God is a multifaceted God, He reaches us based on our convictions about him and he’s ever willing to draw closer to us in as much we are willing to do the same.
Our Love for God is general but the depth are different based on our levels of faith in Him. We can’t condemn other believers based on our own convictions except the Bible affirms that! Our bible is the standard for all believers and our understanding of it differs. It’s expedient for us as believers to walk in love regardless of our conviction system. Only God has the right to judge the intent and conditions of a believer.
Love is the only condition that helps us grow as a believer.
Romans 14:17:   the kingdom of God is not eating and drinking, but righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit.

Rest In God

All of us have either faced difficult times, are facing difficult times or will face difficult times. Perhaps you have felt like throwing in the towel and giving up on God and your faith. If we are truly trusting God, we are not responsible for the ultimate outcome of difficult times. Even when things do not turn out the way we want or expect, God is responsible for the outcome. We only need to trust and obey God. The great news is that our ability to overcome does not come from our own strength; it comes from the power of Holy Spirit.

Prepare, Pray and Plan! before you take the plunge by Mojisola MusiQ

The fact that you’ve been leading worship for many years in your local church does not mean you will automatically be a successful recording artiste the minute you hit the studio. There is a difference between leading “your” church congregation on Sunday  who are used to your voice and smile at you even when you sing off key, to ministering effectively to people you will probably never meet over the Radio/TV/Social Media channels etc.

I have been leading worship for almost 20 years but when it came time to start recording and releasing music in 2015. I realized that i had the gift but did not know the art and business side of the ministry (yes there is a business side believe it or not Being anointed is great but its not all you need..... yup you heard right.

The anointing enables you to do the work but you must sit down and plan how to be excellent at your new phase through Gods leading. You must be humble enough to approach those who know how you can learn what you lack in ministry. Ask a lot of questions, take advice, make mistakes, learn from the mistakes of others  but don't compromise on your vision, take correction... not everyone is jealous of your vocal range or success you can't be praying to God for destiny helpers and not be willing  to trust the team you are working with (even if they are not your age mates... wisdom is not by age Selah). The people that will help you succeed are usually those that rub you up the wrong way.... they are the ones that will tell you how you really sound and what you must improve on. LISTEN TO THEM!!!

Don’t let the infamous  church language ...”sister bola you have a good voice, please drop an album we will support you”...rush you into the studio until you have heard God for yourself 100% because if you release a song out of church hype and sentiment you will be very surprised that many people will not buy your single let alone album because you are more a indie, pop, or soft rock singer person than Makossa style singer. ouch!!!... Truth hurts
So please Prepare, Pray and Plan! before you take the plunge.

And to your faith, add works...James 2:26

From one learner-recording-gospel-artiste to another..

Love and light

CUT IT OFF

A lot of times we pay attention to things that we ought not to and dont pay attention to things we ought to.

I was looking at a picture of a well trimmed growing flower and comparing it to the one that was not well cut and kept neat.
The difference between them is that the one ok is always trimmed, looks better, finer and grows well because the dead leaves are taken away to allow fresh leaves to grow.

There are times in life you need to cut off anything  that is hindering your walk with God. You will look more beautiful  when you choose to stay away from strife, bitterness, hatred, anger, jealousy, pride, gossips, secret sins and anything that doesn't please God in our lives.
They are extra attachments that God did not put on us.As a matter of fact, we pick them along each day without even knowing.

God needs us to daily and consciously do away with sin and allow him work in us.  so we can be beautiful in his sight.
Speak to yourself everyday and take away anything in or around you that wont allow Gods beauty to radiate in your life.
Be a true child of God.
Shalom!!

Grace Celebrates Tamunotonye Emmanuel!!!

Tamunotonye Emmanuel Minaye-Ilombo [Otons] started singing in church choir, in the early 90’s.  His love for Singing was birthed by his Mother who on one occasion advised he tune his energy to sing for God. On discovering himself, and God’s gift he started writing gospel songs, and singing. He’s a Civil Engr., God chaser though he’s been running from the call but glad to yield at last.

Oboma; Praise Him was written in 2005. Produced by G-Signal Production under the supervision and scrutiny of Wisdom K. It's rendered in Ijaw; Okrika dialect with a fuse of Igbo, and English. It's a song of praise which focuses on extolling the Creator of all life. It's crafted with a fuse of Highlife music common in the Niger Delta, and promises to lift your spirit and tune you to the Almighty.
