2018 will be gone forever in some few hours.
I have been thinking, my blog wasn't just inactive for months but i was not led to say a word. There are so many thoughts on my mind.
The last two years has been quite challenging but my eyes have been open to know what it truly means to stand out.

So this is 2019, a future yet to be born, the next you is in your hands. Remember, you are not getting younger. Its easier to write out your plans and much harder to do what you have said.

Be determined in this coming year to be better and wiser. Who you want to see in you is what you decide and work it out.

Let us all have a rethink. Life can make more meaning. Yes it can be better.

Dear music ministers, we are so surrounded lately with competitions, hatred, strife, jealousy, gossips.
I don't know how we see this God of the whole universe.  Where are we going with our hearts so full of evil? Heaven?


The rate of competition amongst music ministers is so alarming that we no longer look like believers preaching about christ.

How come, we find it difficult to build ourselves yet we want to be in heaven?
How come we stand before God's altar and all we think is showing off.
How come we are so concerned with fame and money and were gradually pulling away from spreading the gospel?
How come we are no longer our brothers keeper?
Why is it all about you alone?
LET ME REMIND YOU
God needs worship from a pure heart.
God knows the true worshippers.
God knows you better than your thoughts. Remember he created you.
God knows when your ministration is a competition.
He knows every hidden motive.
When you get to heaven, there's no cloth competition, No dress to kill, no concerts, no music director, no choir leader, no HOD, no dope songs, no time for make up, there's no church in heaven.
You will not make heaven because you lead a good or big choir here on earth.

THERE IS NO POSITION IN HEAVEN OR ELSE  THE COMPETITION CONTINUES.
Your spirit alone goes there.
We all bow before his throne and worship for eternity .
So why the competitions?
Let our hearts be one as the father, son and spirit.

Remember it is all about God not mere mortals.
SERVE GOD!!

BEWARE OF FALSE HELPERS!!!

Dear gospel artistes, 

Sometimes people come to you as helpers, making all the promises how they can change your ministry forever, who they can link you to that your life will never be the same.

Just one simple advice, BE LED!!! Don't fall into the hands of those that are looking for genuine ministers to bring down just like themselves.  God himself will raise genuine men and women that will push your ministry to another level and he alone takes the glory, when they come, you will know.

Before you say yes to those offers, check it, yes please do.

Not every offer is free. Some come with prices you may not be able to pay. If God has called you, wait on him.You will know genuine helpers.

God himself will lead men and women your way that wont say its because they helped you, you became someone.

He will lead genuine people that wont ask you to succumb to their lust. 

God will never allow you loose your ministry because of fame.

LEADERSHIP IS A RESPONSIBILITY, NOT A SHOW OF POWER

If you are called/ ordained  to be a leader in your local church, whether a Pastor, Deacon, Choir director or worship leader, Be willing to serve.
These positions come with a very serious responsibility and not a show of power. 
It's not a time to show pride that you are above all. Its not a time to prove how mean you can be to people.

Leaders are builders.  Your subordinate should learn from you and not run away.
You should be a prove to people around you that you have what it takes to build leaders and not scatter. No hatred, no sentiments, no demi god attitude, no pride.

God help the church today because a lot of leaders appointed are unknowingly bringing down ministries with bad attitudes and characters.
Are you a leader???? read the bible and learn from it what it means to be a leader.
Build and not scatter, Shape new leaders. let them be happy to learn from you.
Remember leaders are servants. YOU ARE CALLED TO SERVE!!!

FULFILLING PURPOSE!!!

There's a point you get to in life when you begin to ponder and ask your self so many questions. For example:
What exactly have I achieved so far?
What impact have I made as a child of God?
Am I fulfilling my dreams?
Am I doing what I am supposed to do?

So many things to ask yourself as a child of God.
The season and time we are in now is not a time to joke with our destiny, our dreams, our ministry and our talent.

What are you doing in your local assembly?
Are you truly fulfilling ministry?

HEAVEN HAS NO RECORD OF THE CHURCH YOU ARE ATTENDING, IT IS YOUR INDIVIDUAL WALK WITH GOD THAT MATTERS.  
NO MATTER WHERE YOU ARE
MAKE FULL PROOF OF YOUR MINISTRY. 

Don't joke with your spiritual life. don't toy  with your walk with God. It is beyond working for God. WALK WITH GOD. 

THE CHURCH YOU ATTEND WONT AUTOMATICALLY TAKE YOU TO HEAVEN.

FULFILL YOUR GOD- GIVEN MINISTRY .
YOU HAVE A PURPOSE HERE ON EARTH.
YOUR PASTOR IS FULFILLING HIS, HOW ABOUT YOU?
WHAT IS YOUR OWN WORK FOR THE KINGDOM???

NEVER TOO EARLY TO START

When my father was about 70 years, he was always echoing it during our devotions  that he wished he had known the lord very early, he would have preached and served God so well. Then I was in my late 20's and I was wandering what time is the early?

Fast forward to my 40's....
WISHED I WAS DOING WHAT I AM DOING NOW. I HAD THE TIME, MY PARENT TAUGHT US TOO EARLY.
THEY INTRODUCED  US TO GOD AT AN EARLY AGE.
SO WHAT HELD ME BACK?
HOW ABOUT OUR CHILDREN?

A lot of us have not even started, when are we going to imbibe what we know into our children?
At my early age, I could recite a lot of bible passages and I started singing in the choir too but these days, the world is taking over the children so fast.

REMEMBER NOW THY CREATOR IN THE DAYS OF THY YOUTH...ECC. 12VS1.

It's not too late. Serve the lord now you are young.  Don't be too carried away.
Teach the children now they are young . They also need to know this God we worship.

MAY WE NOT LIVE OUR LIVES FORGETTING GOD IS THE REASON FOR OUR EXISTENCE.

THERE IS HOPE!!!

I remember when I was praying for the things i have now.

I remember when I wished, prayed, cried, fasted, sowed, sang to as God for those things that I now call my own.

I remember also when i didnt have an opportunity to sing.

I remember how I cried when it seemed like all doors were shut.

I remember when nobody cared to call or ask me how are things with you.

I remember how I felt when I was pushed away like a bin bag.

I remember how I was belittled by those i looked up to

I remember the betrayals.

Looking back and seeing who I am today gives me so much hope that there's something bright about my future.

ARE YOU FEELING SAME WAY???

GOD CANNOT FAIL.

HE WILL CHANGE YOUR STORY JUST LIKE HE DID FOR ME AND IS STILL DOING MORE...

LEADING PEOPLE IN WORSHIP

Few years ago I was opportuned to lead praise somewhere and what baffled me was after spending time to pray and prepare, that morning, i was given another song list and i was told those are the preferred songs that  i had to sing. I was suprised because i was not used to it.
Well, the experience wasn't funny for me and  I made up my mind never to follow anyone's choices of songs without being led by God. 

It may sound funny, but please know that our worship is not to any man. Inasmuch as we want to get it right and want people to be happy with what we do on stage, please ask God to lead you to sing what He wants to hear.

A lot of times, we are compelled to sing some songs over and over again  just to please people .  Your praise and worship is a message in songs, you should hear God for yourself what you need to sing. DON'T ALLOW ANYONE WRITE YOUR MESSAGE FOR YOU!!! NEVER SEEK MAN'S APPROVAL ON WHAT TO SING INSTEAD OF GOD LEADING YOU ?

YOUR WORSHIP IS TO GOD AND NOT MAN.

To Gospel Singers and Instrumentalists

Studying the word and praying is the only way to grow spiritually.

If you enjoy singing and playing instrument more than studying and praying;

If you come alive when it's time for music and tune off during sermons and go dumb during prayers;

If you favour/prefer music concerts over bible study, prayer meetings and evangelism outreaches;

If you switch church now and then because of music, instruments, platform and contracts;

Then you need mind renewal. Spiritual growth is far from thee.

Singing and playing instruments can't grow anyone spiritually.

Singing and rehearsals must never replace studying and praying.

Music concerts mustn't replace bible study and prayer meetings.

Pastors must ensure this focus in their local churches.

If you're a gospel singer or instrumentalist. Take heed.

Spend more time studying and praying.

There is nothing like singing ministry in the new testament. Not one single reference. It is the ministry of the word and prayer. When we are drunk from the word & prayer, we can sing and make melody in the Spirit. This is not from rehearsal, it is from the Spirit.

No matter what we do, the word and prayer must be the basis.

Before you sing and play instrument for God, please study the word and pray for yourself.

Those times you say "God told you" and its just what you felt. Yes you know better!
How you  lied about yourself!
How you were pretending to show love and your hearts are filled with hatred!
How you were using the name of God to make money!
How you deceived people with fake prophesies!

YOU WON'T BE EXCLUDED FROM JUDGEMENT!!!!
 Yes you. So remember that as you tell that lie, as you plot evil against your fellow  human, as you gossip, as you hate, as you deceive people, One day you will give account of how you spent your life. As you plan to frustrate someone instead of showing love, You will stand before your maker to give account.

For we must all stand before Christ to be judged. We will each receive whatever we deserve for the good or evil we have done in this earthly body. 2 Cor. 5:10 NLT

Remember also, those seeds you raise as your honorarium because you were called up to preach, those huge charges to go and be a blessing.  You will give account.
Those times you cheat and take some part of the offering in church.
Those times you told lies .
YOU MUST STAND BEFORE GOD!!!
Those times you betrayed your friend that trusted you. You must give account!

JUDGEMENT DAY IS COMING.
EVERYONE WILL STAND BEFORE GOD AND GIVE ACCOUNT OF WHAT THEY DID WHEN HE SENT YOU TO THIS EARTH!!!

So yesterday night we had a long talk on fulfilling ministry as a child of God with my hubby and some friends. It was an interesting topic and i gained a lot from it. WE ALL HAVE OUR MISSION TO FULFILL ON EARTH.  Fam, its a simple prayer but with all sincerity.  If you follow Jesus and allow him lead the way, you have made your journey to fulfilling ministry easier. Let this prayer be in your mouth always.

Make my heart your home.

I want to be pleasing in your sight

To do all you want me to.

As you lead, help me follow you.

Give me the grace to follow you

Help me to live up to your expectation.

GOD NEEDS YOUR SERVICE NOW!!

Your ministry is God's divine assignment for you on earth. 

A lot of times, most gospel artiste/ministers feel there's so much time left and so they take most opportunities God has given to them to minister to people for granted.

Time is going, you are growing older by the day, God is raising other ministers ,  and the more you keep missing opportunities he gives to you, the less you see opportunities.

So after you have dropped a single debut, your local church is now too small for you to be a blessing and when you are called to sing with your choir, you're  not available or you want to sing when its a special programme.

THERE IS NO TIME. God wants you   to use your gift now. He created you for a season.

Don't be looking  for bigger platforms when God is counting on you to be a blessing in your local church. Some have already stepped aside because they feel their church is too small for them and so they are looking for bigger platforms. HOW MANY SOULS HAVE RECEIVED CHRIST THROUGH YOUR MINISTRATIONS?

There's so much that God wants to do through you in that church where you are, so don't be fast to run away because you are looking for bigger platforms.

 HE CALLED YOU AND IN HIS TIME HE WILL LAUNCH YOU TO THE WORLD.

Don't waste the little time you have, other artists are springing up and you might just fade away without impacting those around you.

DON'T RUN AFTER PLATFORMS TO BLOW. LET THE PEOPLE AROUND YOU BE BLESSED BY YOUR MINISTRY.

MUSICIANS : WHY YOU JOINED A CHURCH WILL DETERMINE HOW YOU WILL LEAVE.

This write up is specially for those who found their way into church as a paid staff with the wrong motive and you end up never happy.
You are an instrumentalist or a wonderful singer and you were offered salary to play or sing in a church. I really do not condemn anyone because some persons are actually trained to play instruments or sing but some just see it as an opportunity to get a platform where they can be seen and some just want the money.

WHAT IS YOUR MOTIVE TAKING THAT JOB AS A PAID SINGER OR INSTRUMENTALIST?  Is it your service to God or service to the church?  You complain everyday that you  feel you're being used, they don't respect you, you are shouted on like a child, you don't hear the messages preached, you don't feel church, the job is too stressful, you are tired, you are not given platform etc. It is clear that you are just there because of the money. NO WONDER YOU FIND YOURSELVES MOVING FROM ONE CHURCH TO ANOTHER OR LOOKING FOR A CHURCH WHERE YOU WILL BE PAID HIGHER SALARY.  ARE YOU TRADING YOUR SERVICE TO GOD? 

Every organization has a structure, but today's church  has been structured as an organisation where people do what they feel is right like any other company out there.  Lets not play about it. We are Christ like and our mandate is to spread the gospel. When you trade your ministry with money, expect anything even an unexpected sack letter or ill treatment because you signed a deal when you were employed there. 
ASK YOURSELF AGAIN. What is my motive taking this job as a paid staff? you hardly sit to hear the message preached, a lot of paid staff especially musicians don't grow spiritually where they are being paid. They look for the word somewhere else.

Be wise people. This topic may not go down well with some persons but let me drop this here....

 Why you joined a church can determine how you will leave!!!

IF YOU JOINED AS A HIRED ( PAID) STAFF, ONE DAY YOU WILL LEAVE AS A FIRED (SACKED) STAFF.

DONT LET YOUR DREAM DIE!!!

So we are in august!!! Its been a while I shared on my blog but i thank God for all I have learnt so far. 

We are in the 8th month of this 2018, Are you still holding on to your dreams? Are you still wishing? Are you still procrastinating. Wake up!!! There's no exact time to act, start up no matter how small it looks. You will be shocked at what you will achieve before the end of 2018.

Do you have a dream? Please don't let it die. Don't regret the steps you refused to take now.
Don't be surprised, God has placed a helper for you but he wants to see you start up, He wants to see your faith stirred up.

REMEMBER YOU WERE CREATED FOR A REASON AND CHOSEN FOR A SEASON.

Don't allow procrastination take your time. that gift in you will not waste in Jesus name.

Don't let a wounded soldier die...

Sometimes I imagine how it would have been if God never forgives us our sins. 

We are children of God, called to give light to the world. We are vessels in the hand of our Maker. We are soldiers leading souls to know Jesus. 

It is also our responsibility to pick up a depressed, weak, fallen or wounded soldier up to continue the race.  Sometimes, a fellow in church might have a misunderstanding with you as a leader and instead of showing them love, you push them away. It might even go as far the leader sending  person away.

A lot of people have left churches discouraged because nobody cared to ask or sit them down to know what went wrong and most times they leave with bitterness and unforgiveness in their hearts.

May God help us not to ignore anyone  living in unforgiveness or grudges against us. Every action you take towards a wounded soldier will either make or destroy, call that man or woman today that had left church because of your actions. HEAVEN NEEDS THEM. May they not miss heaven because we push them aside. 

Never let a wounded soldier die.

If only we can live just the way Jesus taught us, we would be so fulfilled

He didn't meet you to produce the song, and because of that you couldn't share when the song was released... What will Jesus do?

He didn't involve you to play the instrument while working on the song.  so the song is out now and you refused to click like or share. What will Jesus do?

You are not so close to him/her in church so you didn't share the song  too. What will Jesus do?

You had a little misunderstanding and as a leader, you swore never to see him/her move forward. And all you did is to make sure he never has the opportunity to sing.  what will Jesus do.  Remember you are not God.

So he's not in your clique of friends and so his/her song is not worth sharing too.

You can't share his post too on your blog because they can't afford your fees yet you look for those top artiste that have so many followers and share their posts without them paying you a dime...

What will Jesus do?

We can share comedies, funny pictures but your share button doesn't accept your fellow gospel minister's song.

Don't see ministry as a competition. There's a mandate God gave everyone on earth. Go into the world and spread the gospel. 

ARE WE SPREADING THE GOSPEL AS CHRIST COMMANDED US TO???

A Word from Grace!!!

Good morning family, just a word to start the day. 

There are challenges you might be going through as a gospel minister. A lot of times,  we don't know when we begin to react negatively, and the next thing hatred towards one another creeps in and the clique comes in, we suddenly separate ourselves from one another and live like we are  enemies.  We are one body in Christ and we ought to live and spread the gospel as one. 

My mother shared a little advice with me few years ago and i think we all need it.

No matter who hurts you in this journey of fulfilling your ministry on earth, LOVE  THEM AND SHOW THEM MORE LOVE.  That is what Jesus did for us. Have a beautiful Wednesday.
