GOSPEL MINISTERS - DO YOU HAVE A PLAN?

There are so many gospel artiste out there that have seen music as a business and have stuck to it like a life time job. Its alright, if God has told you  to do so.

Have you really checked if that is all you want to do to earn a living, To get married,   get a roof over your head, train your children? ..... Remember everyday you grow older and responsibilities increases by the day 

We have looked at our big brothers and sisters in ministry that they are making it big and we have decided to follow too. 

A lot of these people we want to copy already have businesses running, offices, boutiques, hotels, houses on rent, salons, bakeries, schools, some already run studios for rehearsals and are earning money. Some are into real estates. Some still practice in their field. 

Check the scene today, the gospel ministers 25  years ago are not on the stage like they use to be because God has raised more of his servants to take over. So tell me, are they still depending on the honorarium alone to survive?

Dear Gospel ministers, this honorarium may not last forever. God is raising more men and women and you will need to rest one day and hand over the baton.

Your ministry is a calling you have to fulfil as a child of God. What if you are not invited for programs for 7 months? How would you survive? 

Ponder over these things.

Your ministry is a personal mission

Gospel minister always feel their churches/pastors don’t assist them in their work and growth process. They don't give them platforms to be known, no body supports financially etc.

This has been going on for a while in different places. Yes, we always feel our help must come from our pastors and so on. Sometimes we want to put our blames on others because they were not there for us.

It is only God that can help you. When God links you to your helpers, no power on earth can stop you.  Don't wait for your pastor to give you a platform or bring the money to help you. What if he is not the one God has ordained to push you to where God has destined for you? 

Every pastor is running their own race, they are also struggling to make heaven. Don't think it is easy with them. The same race you are in is the same they are too. THIS RACE IS PERSONAL. Your ministry is also a personal mission assigned to you by God.  God can use anyone to support your ministry. Your prayer is to meet those helpers God has destined for your life. 

Activate your faith, Let God's grace rest on you. When you put your hope and trust in man, it will fail, let God be the centre of it. 

You don’t have to look at any man. Look unto God who is the author (originator) and finisher of our faith. Heb 12: 2.

My Experience...Be Blessed!

Every past experience and trials I've been through  is preparing me for the mission ahead.  I've gone through some unstable times in ministry that i almost gave up. I sat back at home thinking about where i have to start from. Church wasn't interesting anymore at some point.  I just wanted to be alone but my mind was still in my dreams and vision.

I lost confidence in myself for some months. I needed help to build up my ministry and vision but i was told that i cannot sing well,  my voice is not good for a solo piece and i should check myself to know where i fit in. I was just nailed down because i didn't believe in me anymore. 

 Nobody knew my covenant with God and nobody gave me this talent. GOD DID IT!!

Then why will a man like me decide who i will be?

Here i am today.  I'm a testimony to God's glory and my worship must glorify the one who sent me.

MY DESTINY IS IN GOD'S HANDS.

YOUR DESTINY IS IN GOD'S HANDS.

REFUSE TO LISTEN TO ANY NEGATIVE WORD CONCERNING YOU.

Rise up dear Anointed child of God.

Dont believe what they say unless God says so.

Take that step no matter how small and keep pushing.  

God must honour you this 2018.

The Dangers of two voices

Many people are confused today, because their minds are not focused on God. They don’t know how to follow the voice of God; we a lot of times mistake the voice of man for the voice of God. People profess to hear the voice of God all the time. Some would say “God said this” and then “God changed his mind”. It’s been heard from a number of people. That must mean they didn’t hear him very well.

We hear voices; sometimes voices of confusion. Sometimes you’re trusting God for something, and then you seek other people’s opinion about that thing. Instead of going into the scriptures, you start hearing what people say instead of what God says. A lot of times, many of us believers don’t even open the Bible to hear what God says. Many people are very knowledgeable of the Bible, but to them it’s just a letter. They lack the application.

A lot of times, the voices we hear bring confusion.

John 8:32 says “And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” If one hears the voice that’s contrary to freedom, then that is not of God. But a lot of times, one cannot know if their frequency is on the same frequency as God. A lot of times, one cannot align their thoughts with the word of God because of what they want to hear.

Ask yourself, “what is God saying to me?” You shouldn’t live just to follow people. If you’re married, you shouldn’t live for your husband. Even though you need to take care of the things of your husband, it should be as unto the Lord. You need to hear the voice of God in your husband, and you need to train yourself to hear the voice of God in everything. If you hear the voice of God, you’re going to hear stuff you don’t like. God will tell you to do stuff you don’t like.

John 10:27 says “My sheep hear my voice, and I know them and they follow me.” That means if you’ve ever heard the voice of God, you can only bind him one time. If you bind him again, it’s because you don’t want to do what he asks you to do. If you recognize the voice of God in your life, when He speaks to you, you will not bind him again. God will never speak to us outside of his Word.

What is bringing a lot of struggle in the Body of Christ is that many of us are not hearing His voice, and because we’re not hearing His voice we’re not leading right. Many of us lead out of wound. If God is bringing us back to that level, it’s because there’s something that is not right that we need to adjust. Otherwise, God should be excited that we’re leading right in the Kingdom.

When we don’t hear the voice of God, we hear the voice of confusion. When we don’t hear the voice of God, we hear the people’s opinion, and we derail. God is saying that the reason many of us are struggling is because we’re not hearing his voice. We want to hear what we want to hear; sometimes we even use scriptures to justify what we want to hear, and we block out the voice of God.

When we hear the voice of God, we will seek to please God and do his will. When we hear the voice of God, we’ll always seek to live right and lead right. You’re not everybody, you don’t have to live the way others want you to live. Others may not like it, but you just have to live the way God wants you to live.

The voice of the enemy is the voice of rebellion, strife, and contention, and division, which has dominated the Body of Christ today. Many of us talk about love, but we don’t know what love is. We think love is just when we give stuff and in our hearts we feel some way about the people we’re giving it to. We don’t know love, because if we know love, we will not backbite. What I can’t say behind you, I shouldn’t say.

Gospel Ministers: "The world is a large stage"

A lot of gospel ministers are really discouraged with the way things are going on around them. It's been long you ministered in a program and others are filling their social media handles with pictures of past programs and invites.

You have songs already produced and you are stuck promoting them. You have been in choir for years but not given the opportunity to sing or you have been pushed away stylishly from singing in your local church. 

Well, do you know there are people that never share posts but are everywhere blessing lives? Do you know in your own little way you might have made more impact than those you are looking at?

Do you know also that you don't have to compare yourself with anyone? 

Don't be discouraged.  No!! Never be discouraged.  Everyone has a mission. You can't be someone else.  The devil sometimes uses people to stop what God has created us to be.  

This world is a large stage, sit down  and think.  You can not have a stage but you can reach the world with your voice on Facebook, Instagram etc... 

Be creative in your own way. I've seen people post videos without any instrument being played and they have millions who viewed them, and they have blessed people with just that song. 

You don't need a stage to be known. It's God that brings fame.  Luke 1: 14, And Jesus returned in the power of the spirit into Galilee: and there went out a fame of him through all the regions round about! Jesus did not struggle for fame, yet He fed 5,000. He was interested in the assignment His Father gave him and that brought fame to him! 
May God send your helpers your way.  

If you don't have a stage, create one and your helpers will locate you in Jesus name.

Dear Gospel Ministers: What will you do?

 It's not a strange question i guess.

You got an invitation to minister in a very large concert coming up in a city close by, where you might be ministering to over ten thousand persons and its a very huge honorarium.

Wao!!! What a breakthrough! What an opportunity!!!

The publicity is all over social media, everyone is anticipating how the concert is going to make a huge impact in your ministry.

You are busy preparing for the ministration, you have done all the rehearsals and prepared your team to go show the world how much you have prepared.  Then a week to this great concert, God speaks to you " My child, I have not sent you there " . 

What will you do?
